It is our desire to provide affordable, all
inclusive and worry free wedding services to couples desiring simple, tasteful and elegant outdoor weddings for a nearly
all-inclusive fee. Services included in a base fee include:
Ceremony and reception site
Assistance with developing
wedding theme, style and decor concept and access to any and all decorations in our inventory.
Handling
the acquisition of any additional equipment, supplies or decor desired.
Time and labor in establishing and
constructing site design and decor.
Professional florists.
Arranging/scheduling necessary purchases of equipment, supplies, and decor/or rental arrangements with vendors including
restroom facilities.
Coordination with officiant, photographer, caterer.
Provide traffic/parking direction and assistance
for V.I.P and handicapped guests.
Dismantel following event.
Disposal of trash and other refuse; we provide for garbage service and related fees.
Professional cleaning
of linens provided by Mahogany Ridge.
Return of any rental property.
Weddings and receptions over 160 guests will require the rental of additional chairs,
tables and linens which will be an addition to the above fee.
Separate additional expenses onto base fee for weddings up
to 160 guests--The following four expenses are in addition to our base fee:
1. Restroom Facilities:
Portable restroom facilities will be required of events of 50 guests or more at the Homestead House as residential
septic facilities cannot accommodate more than this. Restroom facilities are required of any event taking place at all
other locations at Mahogany Ridge. Usually approximately $80 or up to $150 depending upon how many units are needed.
2. Your decorating budget: If you desire decor outside of which we already
have in inventory you will be asked to inform us as to the amount you wish to budget for this expense. For any decor
you do not desire to keep that is capable of further use in future events at Mahogany Ridge, we will offer to purchase from
you at the rate of 50% of its original cost up to a maximum of $500.
3. Floral design work for
wedding party and family: This refers to the bride's and groom's and their attendants carrying
pieces, corsages and boutonnieres and/or corsages and boutonnieres desired for family and friends in attendance. Floral
design work by Mahogany Ridge staff is charged at the rate of $25 per hour. Generally, this kind of work can be completed
well within an 8 hour work day depending upon the number of corsages, boutonnieres you will require and the complexity of
the designs you select. Again, this additional fee is for floral design work associated with the bride's, groom's,
their attendants and families' attire and costuming. Floral design work related to sets, props for the staging of
the ceremony and reception is included in our base rate.
4. Over-night accomodations at Mahogany
Ridge:
Homestead
House overnight per couple:

The Homestead House can sleep 8-9 persons. A full house is considered to be 6 persons and when
a reservation on any night reaches 6 persons, a flat rate for the house is charged of $299 per night.
Refundable deposit required for large groups ………………………………$250.00
We reserve the right to adjust the pricing of our wedding fees at any time
without prior notice or publication.
Deposits
- At the
time you book your wedding, 50% of the package price is required.
- If you are making lodging accommodations associated with the dates and times of your wedding, deposits and
payment on those reservations are also due at the time you make your reservations.
- The balance on your wedding package and accommodations relating to it are due in full not later
than one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to your wedding date.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel your reservation in the 7th-9th month prior to
your wedding date,
your deposit is fully refundable.
- If
you cancel your reservation during the 6th month prior to your wedding date, your deposit is 75% refundable.
- If you cancel your reservation during the
5th month prior to your wedding date your deposit is 50% refundable.
- If you cancel your reservation during the 4th month prior to your wedding date your deposit is 25% refundable.
IF YOU MAKE
YOUR RESERVATION THREE (3) MONTHS OUT FROM YOUR WEDDING DATE, 100% OF YOUR DEPOSIT IS DUE AT THE TIME YOUR DATE IS RESERVED
AND YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY WILL AUTOMATICALLY FALL UNDER THE ABOVE GUIDELINES LISTED UNDER ITEM #4.
IF YOU MAKE AND/OR CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION LESS THAN THREE (3)
MONTHS OUT FROM YOUR WEDDING DATE YOUR DEPOSIT IS DUE IN FULL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
EACH INDIVIDUAL CONTRACT WILL LIST CANCELLATION DATES SPECIFIC
TO YOUR RESERVATION.
ANY MONEY PAID TOWARD A SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT IS 100% REFUNDABLE
IF YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION REGARDLESS OF THE DATE THE RESERVATION IS CANCELED.
Designated financially responsible person...At the time you make your
deposit, but certainly not later than one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to the event, the bride must notify us as to
the name, address and phone number of the individual who will be the designated financially responsible person for the event.
That person must sign the cost sheet for the event and guarantee the payment of any additional charges that arise with
regard to the event which may include but not be limited to equipment rented, extra services, staff charges, from Mahogany
Ridge, examples of which will be discussed in advance. We accept cash, personal checks, VISA and MASTERCARD.
A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned check.
