Business
began at Mahogany Ridge in 2003, with a goal to offer our guests unforgettable retreat-like accommodations in a cozy, mountain
cabin decorated with a rustic elegance, very personal touches and attention to detail.
By summer, 2005,
we continue that goal yet take it one step farther as Mahogany Ridge kicks off
“Weddings at the Ridge” and is now available as the location for outdoor weddings, receptions and other events
offering views to which, quite simply, no other location can quite compare. If
you are about to be married and are interested in finding an outdoor location for your wedding and reception of unsurpassed
natural beauty, we invite you to come and speak with us. If you are interested
in having a bar-b-que, birthday celebration, anniversary party or office party and are looking for just the right setting
for your event, you need look no farther. At Mahogany Ridge your event will take
place in the peaceful, tranquil beauty of evergreen covered mountains mixed with the rustic elegance of a mountain lodge. Give us a call and see if we have a date available for your special day.
A Setting of Unsurpassed Beauty...
Many
wedding ceremonies have taken place on the redwood deck built around the Old Apple Tree in the yard of the Homestead House. Up to 125 guests can be seated on white garden chairs on the lawn offering them a
panoramic view of the South Warner Mountains
and the lush green grasslands of Jess Valley as they await the start of your wedding ceremony.
A small arched foot bridge is built over a narrow stream to span two sides of lawn.
In many ceremonies, the bride is escorted across the bridge to her awaiting groom and the exchange of vows takes place
in the shade of the Old Apple Tree. Following the ceremony, your reception dinner
and dance can take place on the lawn and deck area.
Your
wedding ceremony may take place on the gazebo and lawn on the west side of Cantrall House.
The red gazebo with white trim will set the stage for your ceremony as up to 200 of your family and friends share in
your special day while looking out over the beautiful Warner Mountain Range that borders Jess Valley. The gazebo is also situated beside the bank of a narrow stream. Following the ceremony, your reception dinner will be held on the south lawn and your dance will take place
on the grass next to the gazebo.
Your
wedding ceremony can also take place in flower garden of Cantrall House known as Elsie’s Garden which has breathtaking
views of the entire expanse of Jess Valley and the surrounding South Warner Mountain Range.
There are many decorating possibilities for this space and it can easily accommodate up to 250 seated guests. The reception dinner following your ceremony will move to the adjoining lawn. When you’re ready to dance, your D.J. or band will have a prime location on
the gazebo.
One
of the benefits of having Mahogany Ridge host your special day is the large property and numerous sites to choose from. We encourage you to mix and match the sites listed above or to suggest one on our
property that is particularly inspiring to you. We are willing to work with you
to create an unforgettable event.

Your Wedding, Your Way
We do everything possible to make your wedding and reception as perfect as we possibly can—in
the outdoors. Brides and grooms do need to understand that their event will be
held in an outdoor, country
environment and controlling every little thing Mother Nature does and provides
us to work with can be challenging. However, that very fact just may afford you
the opportunity to have the most unique wedding you have ever dreamed of, in other words,--“the sky’s the limit!!”
Well, with some sensibility applied!
Let us know if you have special and unique ideas and wishes for your ceremony or reception.
